Anambra Stood Still For Soludo As Isuofia Community Honours Him With A Chieftaincy Title

Anambra State literally stood still for Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, when his home community, Isuofia, honoured him with the Chieftancy title of “Dike-Udo Isuofia” (Strong Man of Peace).

The title which was bestowed on Cee Cee Soludo who was accompanied by his beautiful wife, Mrs Nonye Soludo, by the Igwe-in-Council led by His Royal Highness, Igwe C.A.O Muoghalu (Isu na Isuofia) attracted eminent personalities within and outside Anambra State including Governor Willie Obiano who was the special guest of honour alongside the first lady Dr (Mrs) Ebelechukwu Obiano.

In his appreciation speech Cee Cee Soludo expressed his heart-felt gratitude to the Igwe of Isuofia and his traditional cabinet members for the honour done to him. He said he will continue to support the people and the Isuofia community in every way possible.

He specifically thanked Governor Willie Obiano and his wife for honouring him with their physical presence. He described Obiano as a “Governor like none” who has performed exceptionally well in providing the dividends of democracy for the good people of Anambra state.

Governor Willie Obiano in his remark commended the Igwe and the people of Isuofia for honouring Soludo. He said Cee Cee Soludo is an illustrious son who through dint of hardwork has brought honour and dignity to Anambra State in general and the Isuofia community in particular. He stated that Soludo is a self-made man and the State remains very proud of his accomplishments and other amazing feats he has achieved as an individual.

The Governor again reiterated that Cee Cee Soludo remains the undisputable gubernatorial candidate of APGA adding that very soon his campaign will officially be flagged off for the November 6 governorship election.

The number one citizen of the State also called on Ndi Anambra to continue to support APGA and its gubernatorial candidate for forthcoming governorship election in order to sustain and build on the achievements of his administration.

The occasion was also graced by top government functionaries, political leaders, Royal fathers, Soludo Support Groups and members of the civil society:
