The Anambra State House of Assembly is to enact a law to regulate smoking in public places.
Ikem Uzoezie of Aguata 2 state constituency presented the bill for a law on regulation of smoking in public places which was read for the first time on Tuesday during plenary.
The bill if passed into law will help to curtail indiscriminate smoking of any kind in open places. The bill is expected to scale through second reading and final passage into law.
