His Royal Highness, Igwe Gerald Obunadike Mbamalu of Ojoto kingdom in Idemili-South council area of Anambra State, has declared that antagonists and malignant elements are just peddling negative criticisms against Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo for nothing.
Igwe Mbamalu, who made the aforementioned declarative statement while speaking exclusively with this reporter, said the governor is focused and has his eyes on the ball because he is determined to fulfill his electoral promises as well as deliver dividends of democracy to the people irrespective of tantrums of the negative minority.
The monarch stated that Anambra is a very  complex state consisting of different classes of people ranging from the elites, captains of industries, successful business men and women together with very strong stubborn radical politicians.
He recalled that prior to the emergence of Governor Soludo, a lot of Ndi-Anambra were relocating their businesses to Asaba in Delta State and that 50% of the development in Asaba were done by Anambra indigenes.
Mbamalu maintained that elections had come and gone and whoever emerged the winner should be supported by other contestants to move the State forward. But according to him, the reverse is the case in Anambra where antagonists continue to criticize the winner to ensure he doesn’t succeed.
Igwe Ojoto emphasized that Governor Soludo as far as he is concerned has done excellently and exceedingly well despite paucity of funds. He said the governor is on the right track and with the support of the political class and the private sector, the present administration will achieve a lot more.
He stated also that Governor Soludo was not gunning for a second term in office but primarily concerned with establishing himself as one of the best governors ever produced in Anambra State.
He added that whatever the governor was doing was not because he was seeking a second term but because his aim was to create a liveable, lovable and prosperous homeland for all through the delivery of democracy dividends.
