A lecturer at the Nwafor Orizu College of Education, Nsugbe, in Anambra State, has been kidnapped.
A reliable source who is also a lecturer in the school disclosed this to NewsProbe today. According to the source, the incident happened along Nawgu – Enugu Agidi Road about 7 pm on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 while the man (name withheld) was driving to Awka where he resides from Nsugbe after work.
NewsProbe gathered that the man is yet to regain his freedom as at press time and that his abductors are demanding millions of Naira as ransom.
When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer, Anambra State command, Haruna Mohammed, said he would find out and feed us back. As at press time, he is yet to do so.
