…says APC will produce President of Igbo extraction in 2023

The All Progressives Congress in Anambra state has unanimously made its position clear that President Muhammadu Buhari is taking the nation to the Promised Land judging from his achievements and leadership style.
The party also made it clear that it would ensure that the president wins all the votes in Anambra state and the entire southeast in 2019 general elections, expressing profound confidence that APC would produce an Igbo President in 2023.
Addressing journalists shortly after the party’s state congress at Prof. Dora Akunyili Women Development Centre Awka at the weekend, the leader of the party in the state and Minister of Labour and Employment Dr. Chris Nwabueze Ngige said the party had taken root in the state and poised to reclaim the entire southeast. He stressed that with the emergence of the new state executives, the party is fully prepared for the 2019 elections.
Also, the governorship candidate of the party in the 2017 Anambra governorship election, Hon.Tony Nwoye, said the party is now stronger and better positioned to win elections in Anambra state. He therefore appealed to members of the party to ensure that president Muhammadu Buhari sweeps all the votes in the state in 2019.
Meanwhile, national auditor of the party and governorship aspirant in the 2017 Anambra gubernatorial elections Hon. George Moghalu said they were marketing the president in the state and they were confident that APC Anambra would deliver its candidates in the forthcoming elections while suing for peace as well as intra-party relations.
Another chieftain of the party in Anambra and governorship aspirant Engr. JohnBosco Onunkwor said that APC in Anambra was united and prepared to sweep the entire state.
He also stated that the president was fighting corruption and cabals that had held the nation hostage for too long describing president Muhammadu Buhari as one who has the fear of God and milk of human kindness as evident in the way and manner he handles the affairs of the nation.
The chairman of the All Progressive Congress in Anambra who was returned unopposed at the party’s congress Barr.Emeka Ibeh noted that APC was one family united by agreement and devoid of rancour and acrimony.
Ibeh emphasized that the party had established presence in Anambra state and his emergence as the state chairman was a good omen for the party especially as the 2019 election beckons.
