Buhari To Speak At UN General Assembly

President Muhammadu Buhari will travel to New York at the weekend to participate in the 74th Session of the United Nations General Assembly. He will be speaking on the first day of the general assembly as the fifth speaker.

Buhari’s travel plans were revealed by Tolu Ogunlesi, his Special Assistant on Digitial and New Media via his verified Twitter handle.

Ogunlesi tweeted, “President @MBuhari will this weekend leave for New York to participate in the 74th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA74). He will be speaking on Day 1 of the General Debate (Speaker No. 5) – Sept 24, 2019.”

Ogunlesi didn’t specify the particular day the President will be travelling.
