Coronavirus: Obiano’s Aide Takes Preventive Campaign To Hinterlands

As part of the strategies put in place by the Anambra State Government to combat outbreak of diseases, the Special Adviser to Governor Willie Obiano on Special Duties and Public Orientation, Hon. Ify Obinabo, has taken preventive campaigns to villages and communities in Orumba-North local government area.

Obinabo who was at Amaokpala in Orumba-North on Wednesday, stressed the need for those at the grassroots to maintain minimum personal hygiene of regular handwashing with soap to prevent dieases such as the deadly Coronavirus, Lassa Fever and some others.

She equally stressed the need for hand sanitizers at all times and the need to also avoid body contact with rats to avoid the spread of Lassa Fever as well as bats to avoid the spread of coronavirus in their respective localities.

Obinabo therefore explained that the state government would not relent in its resolve to be combat-ready to prevent any outbreak of contagious diseases across the state.
