COVID-19: Radio Presenter Donates To Anambra Relief Fund

A radio presenter with the Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS), Awka, Ifeomamebe Orjiako, has donated N5,000 to the Anambra State Covid-19 Relief Fund. He urged others who have not donated to the fund to do so, saying no amount is too small.

According to him, what is happening now: closure of air, land and sea borders as well as  businesses, schools, churches, mosques markets and all public places, is a replica of the great tribulation that will come according to Matthew 24 vs17-22. “On that day if the days are not shortened, even the elect will not be saved,” he said.

He added, “There is hunger everywhere, I really want to commend my God fearing governor, His Excellency Chief Willie Obiano, for his great works in the state and to ndi Anambra in making sure everyone is okay. Donations are flying into the state purse from the rich in the state and that’s quite encouraging. Therefore, in my last program on air I decided to support my governor in his good works by donating the sum of N5,000 and also encouraged everyone who’s comfortable enough to donate even if it’s N1,000 to do so. By so doing a life is saved somewhere in the state.

“By next Thursday, I shall be having the honourable commissioner for information, Chief C. Don Adinuba, live on my radio program to throw more light on this coronavirous that’s ravaging the world. Do not forget that sponsors are highly needed to keep this weekly generic radio program live on air touching and blessing souls.
