The Department of State Services (DSS) has announced the appointment of Mr. P.N. Afunanya as its spokesman and public relations officer. He replaces Mr. Tony Opuiyo.
Afunanya is an alumnus of Abia State University where he obtained B.A. English in1997. He also got an MA in English from University of Uyo, 12 years after. In 2011, he obtained another Masters in Peace and Strategic Studies (2011) at the University of Ilorin.
At the moment, Afunanya is pursuing a PhD in Security and Strategic Studies at the Nasarawa State University, Keffi.
The new DSS PRO has attended several courses within and outside and is a member of several professional bodies.
