Following the announcement on Friday, that Arsenal manager Unai Emery has been sacked after just 18 months in charge, fans have been celebrating. The poor run of form and results have seen the London club already playing catch-up in the English Premier League after 13 games.
Their Europa League 2-1 defeat to Frankfurt on Thursday means the Emirate Stadium outfit have gone seven games without a win to equal the club’s unwanted record of 1992.
The management of the club decided to part ways with the Spaniard who succeeded Arsene Wenger on May 23, 2018 and fans immediately swarm Twitter to celebrate the sacking of the 48-year-old.

Another Arsenal fan with the name Akoji Vinlingx said, “Lovely from the board. I was expecting this good news this week.”
In a joyful mood, Olu-Masei wrote, “Finally something to smile about this weekend.”
“We’ve always been waiting for this day, thank you lord,” were the words of Kris Muwonge.
Duke Agunannah couldn’t be more than happy with the timing of the sacking.
“Good news for @Arsenal.
“Unai Emery is not what we need and I am happy he has been sacked before he takes us to relegation.”
Ahmed Abdille simply wrote, “The good news we have been waiting.”
In his period at the Emirate, Emery played 78 games, had 43 wins, 16 draws, 19 losses and had a 55.1% win rate.
