My sincere and deeply felt advice to the federal government is to immediately shelve any plan by the army to start operation crocodile smiles nationwide on Tuesday October 20th 2020 because it will be catastrophic and could degenerate to something ugly and unimaginable.
We do not want more bloodshed of our innocent youths. They have so far carried on with their protest very peacefully and in well cordinated manner.
Any attempt to push the military to the streets will create unintended consequences of terrible proportions and should therefore be completely avoided.
The presence of the military on our streets will create fear and anger which might lead to provocation and the military are not trained to deal with civilians. They are trained to kill.
The government has so far handled the protest in a very dignified manner. Thank you @Vp prof. Osibanjo for the humility in offering that apology.
All the demands of the youths are contained in the APC campaign promises and should be seen as a reminder of what the party had set out to do. So the party should rise up to the demands and begin the process of reformation so badly needed in the country today.
I say no to any military exercise for now. No to the planned crocodile smiles exercise.
