The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) candidate that emerged victorious in the just concluded primary for Ogbaru Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon Chinwe Nwaebili, has said her victory was for all, not for her.
Nwaebili attributed the victory to the doggednes and commitment of the delegates who ensured tranquility during the primary.
Hon Nwaebili, a former Speaker in the Anambra State House of Assembly, stated this during an interview with newsmen in Awka on Monday.
The former speaker promised to deploy her wealth of knowledge and experience in attracting the attention of federal government to invest on meaningful infrastructure in her constituency.
She commended all who contributed to the success of the primary, promising to run all inclusive representation.
“I want to thank the leadership of our great party ably led by the unshakable National Chairman Chief Victor Ike Oye, OZOMKPU, for puting forth a smooth primary election, the coordination was second to none.
“I can’t forget the efforts of every Ogbaru stakeholder especially our Working TC Chairman Comrade Arinzechukwu Awogu ISICHEI and his team for the way they managed the primary Election activities.
“Indeed, Gov Willie Obiano has shown an exemplary style of governance. He promised a free and fair primaries and it came to actualization. His unprecedented records in the past three years have earned him global recognition.” Nwaebili added.
While commending other APGA faithful, INEC and security agencies, Nwaebili urged party loyalists in Ogbaru to remain focused irrespective of political distractions, saying togetherness, they would clinch the 2019 general elections.
She also expressed her gratitude to her family, especially her children for their prayers and support, urging all not to relent in their efforts to achieving a common purpose.
