Governor Ayo Fayose’s candidate, Prof. Kayode Olusola, has emerged the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ekiti State for the July 25 election.
He is at present the deputy governor of the state.
In the primary held on Tuesday, Olusola polled 1191 votes to defeat Dayo Adeyeye who had 763 votes.
The delegates accredited for the election were 1961, with 7 of the votes voided.
