FRSC Leads Road Repairs In Anambra

As part of its strategies to guarantee free flow of both human and vehicular movements this festive season and beyond, the Federal Road Safety Corps Anambra state sector command is currently leading other stakeholders to carry out palliatives on bad portions of roads in Amawbia, Awka-south local government area of the state.
The sector commander Mr. Adeoye Irelewuyi who disclosed this in a statement released by the acting sector public education officer Margret Onabe, noted that the palliative works became necessary to alleviate the sufferings of road users.
The statement reads thus: “The potholes under Amawbia foot bridge has been causing a lot of traffic gridlock and obstructions. As a contribution towards the free flow of traffic, free Road Traffic Crashes, and the safety of motorists, the Sector Commander Corps Commander Adeoye A Irelewuyi deemed it necessary and pertinent by making provision and supply of laterite for the immediate refilling of all the potholes under Amawbia foot bridge which has started and  supervised by the Sector Head of Operations DCC Okora A Awassam.
“The police, ATMA and many motorists expressed very high level of appreciation to the FRSC team.”
