FRSC, Nigerian Army Seek Inter-Agency Collaborations In Anambra

The Federal Road Safety Commission and the Nigerian Army have sought for inter-agency relations to enhance security and safety of citizens in Anambra state.

That was the crux of the matter when the sector commander of the FRSC in Anambra CC Andrew Ayodele Kumapayi received the new commanding officer of the 14 Field Engineer Regiment Nigerian Army Onitsha Lt. Col. Aondoaseel Adeke in his office at the command headquarters Awka.

Adeke said that the purpose of his visit was to get himself acquainted with the FRSC formation in the state as well as seek areas of inter-agency collaborations and synergy with the organiation, noting that teamwork between the two agencies would greatly enhance security and safety of lives and properties in Anambra state.

Responding, Kumapayi assured his guest of a healthy working relationship. He said that the Federal Road Safety Commission and the Nigerian Army had been teammates in the quest for a safe and secured environment for Anambra citizens.

Meanwhile, the courtesy visit was a veritable opportunity for both agencies to establish partnerships for safety and security especially on the highways.
