Group Holds Victory Party For Buhari In Anambra

A group, Good Governance Ambassadors of Nigeria, GOGAN, Anambra State branch, on Monday held a victory party in Awka, the state capital for the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari in the  just concluded 2019 Presidential and National Assembly election.

The ‎State Coordinator of the group, High Chief Johnbosco Obinna Onunkwo, who sent the group’s appreciation to Senator Ahmed Bola Tinubu; the National Chairman of the party, Adams Oshomhole; the President’s campaign Director General, Rt. Hon. Rotimi Ameachi; the state leader of the party, Dr. Chris Ngige, for making the party victorious, said that President Buhari deserved to be re-elected to consolidate on the achievements recorded by his administration and complete the projects he initiated as well as the uncompleted and abandoned projects left behind by past PDP administration.

Onunkwo, noted that Nigeria had witnessed improvement in the last three years as a result of positive measures taken by the APC administration.

He said the Buhari administration had promoted transparency and accountability in government finances which led to fiscal prudence in the management of scarce resources amidst economic challenges.

He said the president’s victory was not ordinary but God design.

He described President Buhari as the only president Nigeria had produced who stood to kill the legislative disease that had been eating deep in the country’s economic life called budget padding.

According him, President Buhari has also succeeded in tackling insurgency, banditry, Fulani/Farmers clashes and other criminal activities in all the parts of the country.

He said the introduction of the Treasury Single Account (TSA) has also ensured the remittance of government revenues which made funds available for the execution of government projects, policies and programmes in all sectors.

Chief Onunkwo also added that the Buhari administration had built a strong confidence in the international community to invest in the country’s economy which saw many foreign direct investment in the country, the ongoing Enugu-Onitsha expressway, among other developmental projects.

He called on Anambra citizens and the entire Igbo communities to come out in large numbers on Saturday and vote for all candidates of APC in order to actualize the 2023 Presidency, promised by Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal Government.
