I Want To Replicate Obiano’s Achievements In Aguata 1 Constituency, Says Ezeno

Raymond Ozoji, Awka

Engr. Godwin Onyeanusi Christopher Ezeno has said that he is in politics to do things differently and to replicate Govermor Willie Obiano’s achievements in Aguata 1 state  constituency.

He said if given the mandate of his people to represent them at the Anambra State House of Assembly in 2019, he woud provide an unprecedented representation at the state assembly for the people of Aguata 1 constituency.

Ezeno who said that his statements were not mere rhetorics, told journalists in Awka on Thursday that he was not in politics to amass wealth as he was already an accomplished business mogul based in the United States of America but he was largely driven by the passion and zeal to give his people political relevance through quality representation.

He maintained, “I want to do things differently to place my constituency at a vantage position for governmental attention,” noting that they have patiently waited for the change he intends to introduce to the constituency.

The aspirant who intends to pursue his political ambition on the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), disclosed further that if elected into office in 2019, project selection and location from the constituency funds as evident in Governor Willie Obiano’s N20 million Community Choose Your Project Scheme, willl be the responsibility of the wards and supervised by the ward chairmen, President-Generals as well as the traditional ruler of each commumity in the constituency.

He also said youths would not be relegated to the background during his stewardship as youth empowerment through skill acquisition and a host of other ventures would be in place to engage youths meaningfully in order to  dissuade them from deliquent behaviours even as he pointed out that his grassroots sports competition known as EZENO GOC UNITY CUP for Aguata 1 constituency was currently ongoing.

Ezeno however expressed confidence in the ability of APGA to conduct free and fair primary elections to enable all aspirants to have a level playing ground on the platform of the party to avoid bickerings and balcanisation.
