The lawmaker representing Orumba-North and South Federal Constituency at the national assembly, Hon. Chief Okwudili Ezenwankwo, has promised Ndi-Anambra that he would replicate the Anambra State Road Maintenance Agency in the 21 local government areas of the state to entrench maintenance culture.
Ezenwankwo said if elected next governor in the forthcoming governorship election, he would also build more roads across the state and ensure that the roads were maintained and sustained through the road maintenance agency he would reactivate and reenergize for optimum service delivery.
The Orumba-North and South constituency representative said Governor Willie Obiano has set the template for good governance in Anambra state and it was pertinent that his successor should be someone who would leverage on his legacies and consolidate on the gains of his administration.
Although he was optimistic that he would win the November 6 gubernatorial election, he emphasized also that his victory at the polls would depend largely on the credibility of the primary election the All Progressives Grand Alliance would conduct for its aspirants.
Ezenwankwo said he believed very strongly that if all aspirants on the platform of APGA should be given a level playing ground and treated equitably, he would win the primaries and also win the general election to enable him to execute his workplan for Anambra citizens.
According to him, “What we are saying is free, fair and credible primaries. Whoever that wins, all of us will rally round that person and support him. But I am very optimistic that I will win the primaries.”
