In Anambra, Awogu Congratulates Obi-Okoye, Others

Following the successful conclusion of the Congresses of the Anambra State chapter of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), the APGA candidate for House of Representatives, Ogbaru Federal Constituency in the just concluded 2023 general elections, Hon. Arinzechukwu Awogu, has congratulated the newly elected State Chairman of the party, Barr. Ifeatu Obi-Okoye; the Ogbaru LGA Chairman, Pastor Onochie Obiora and his Exco; the State Assistant Financial Secretary, Ogbuefi Nnamdi Ifejika; State Assistant Auditor, Barr. Chidiebere Chris Anasiudu and other elected officials at all levels of the party.
Hon. Awogu also thanked the Anambra State Congress Committee led by Dr. Alex Obiogbolu and the Ogbaru LGA Congress Committee led by Sir Paul Nwosu for painstakingly midwifing a successful State and Ogbaru  LGA Congresses, saying that a “lifeline of freshness has been injected into the party”.
He called on members of the party to close ranks, bury all disagreements before and during the Congresses in order to give unflinching support to the newly elected party officials.
“We’ve woken up today into post congress era characterized by the spirit of give and take, which simply-put is a sense of accommodating one another.
“The Congresses at this level have come and gone and have injected a lifeline of freshness into the party. 2025 starts today and with a party that is rejuvenated from Ward to Local Government and to State, we can only hope to see the best. I congratulate all party officials that emerged and wish them success as they steer the affairs of the party.”
Hon. Awogu equally congratulated Gov. Chukwuma Soludo and the members of the party for the choice of Barr. Ifeatu Obi-Okoye, describing Obi-Okoye’s emergence as a good choice.
