Khloe Kardashian has given birth to her first baby – a little girl.
The news comes amid the fallout from a flurry of incriminating pictures and video appearing to show Tristan cheating on his pregnant girlfriend.
Footage taken in a Manhattan nightclub on the night of Saturday April 7 showed Tristan covering his head with a hood as he kissed a mystery brunette.
33-year-old Khloe welcomed the couple’s daughter at 4am on Thursday morning, according to TMZ, with dad Tristan almost missing the birth.
Last night the NBA star was playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers as they took on the New York Knicks as Khloe went into labour- but with a flight time of just under two hours, he had to make a frantic dash to be by his girlfriend’s side.
TMZ confirmed Kourtney, Kim, Kris and Khloe’s friend Malika were all by Khloe’s side during the birth.
It was reported the Kardashian Klan jetted to Ohio after Khloe started experiencing early contractions when news of Tristan’s cheating scandal broke.
The world reeled when video filmed just days ago showed a brown-haired woman following the 27-year-old basketball ace back to his New York hotel.
A woman known as Ms Stephaniee identified herself as the mystery brunette on social media before dropping the huge bombshell that SHE was pregnant too.
She also posted a graphic sex tape that was tagged with Tristan’s Instagram handle, which she alleged was filmed on March 21 2018.
Stephanie then hinted she’d slept with one of Tristan’s Cleveland Cavaliers teammates before her account was suspended.
Khloe, 33, and Tristan first revealed she was expecting on December 20 2017, following weeks of speculation.
They tried to keep the pregnancy a secret for as long as possible, holding off until Khloe was five months along before sharing a snap of her growing bump with both their hands cupping it.
Calling it her “greatest dream” and thanking God for helping her conceive, Khloe wrote a gushing story about how long she’d been waiting to get pregnant.
“I still at times can’t believe that our love created life!” she wrote.
“Tristan, thank you for loving me the way that you do! Thank you for treating me like a Queen! Thank you for making me feel beautiful at all stages! Tristan, most of all, Thank you for making me a MOMMY!!!”
Khloe went on: “You have made this experience even more magical than I could have envisioned! I will never forget how wonderful you’ve been to me during this time! Thank you for making me so happy my love!”
And she told fans how she’d wanted to keep the news out of the spotlight so that she, Tristan and her family could “enjoy our first precious moments just us”.
Later on in her pregnancy, Khloe opened up about how hard it was to keep the news secret even from her family in her first trimester.
“I’m with my sisters pretty much every single day, so it was hard to not be able to say why I was so sick or couldn’t do certain things. We wanted to tell everybody at one time, which made things even more tricky — how do you get all those people together in one room?!—but it was so amazing when we finally did,” she wrote on her app.
She also got real about having sex in pregnancy, confessing that in her third trimester she felt too big to get comfortable in bed.
“Tristan is amazing and would never make me feel different in any way, but I’m sure it’s uncomfortable for a man to have sex with a pregnant woman too,” she said .
“Personally, I get uncomfortable and insecure. Also, you can’t move the same, so you kind of feel useless, LOL. But you just have to improvise and do the best you can.”
Like all three of her other sisters who already have children – Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, and most recently Kylie Jenner – Khloe found out she was expecting a daughter during her pregnancy.
But a source close to the klan said Khloe had experienced a touch of gender disappointment at first – because she wanted to give Tristan another son, after his ex Jordan Craig gave birth to little boy Prince Oliver in December 2016.
“She really wanted a boy and that’s what she was expecting,” the source told People .
“She was definitely disappointed, but is also so happy that God provided her with this gift.”
The source added that Khloe “plans to keep things private for a bit” after she gives birth.
But the reality star will “share when she’s ready” and “hasn’t decided on a full plan” yet.
Unlike with older sister Kourtney and youngest Kylie, Khloe is thought to have insisted on a low-key birth with no-one in the room but Tristan and the necessary doctors.
She banned cameras, makeup and catered meals and pared down her entourage so that she and Tristan could enjoy their first moments of parenthood alone.
Khloe has been waiting many years to become a mum, having undergone fertility treatment while she was still married to ex-husband Lamar Odom.
In a June 2017 episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, she revealed that after undergoing tests, she’d decided to stop using birth control in the hope of getting pregnant with Tristan.
“I’m not on birth control, it’s scary. It’s like a really big step,” she said.
“I am so relieved to know that I am able to get pregnant. Now I have so many other things to think about. Do I wanna have my own baby now? I don’t know. I’m at a crossroads.”
But fate intervened, and just a few months later she found out she was pregnant.
“Tristan was the one who kept telling me, ‘I think you’re pregnant!’ He was leaving town to go back to Toronto and I went to get a pregnancy test,” Khloe revealed on her website.
“I actually had to FaceTime him to tell him. I was nervous and he was so excited!”
Khloe and Tristan have been together since August 2016 when they were set up on a blind date by a mutual friend.
At the time, Tristan’s ex Jordan was pregnant with their first child and she gave birth that December, while Tristan and Khloe had already gone public with their romance and were busy posting loved-up holiday snaps over Instagram.
And they got serious fast, with Khloe telling an interviewer just eight months after their first meeting that they’d already discussed getting pregnant.
“I would love to have a family. We’ve talked about it,” she told ES magazine in April 2017.
“He [already] is a father, and I know for a fact that he would be an impeccable father.”
