Labbadia Rejects Offer To Coach Super Eagles

German tactician, Bruno Labbadia, has reportedly turned down the offer to become the head coach of the senior national team, the Super Eagles, as earlier announced.

Vanguard reports that multiple sources disclosed that the recruitment process was stalled over organisational issues that could not be resolved.

The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, announced Labbadia as the new head coach on August 27 as a replacement for Finidi George. He was expected to lead Nigeria in the Nations Cup double-header against Benin Republic and Rwanda next month.

A list of 23 players has already been unveiled to prosecute the fixtures before the latest development.
