Ogbaru Stands Still For Soludo As More Defectors From APC, PDP Join APGA

Ogbaru Local Government literally stood still for Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), gubernatorial candidate when his campaign train arrived the local government area.

Cee Cee Soludo and Governor Willie Obiano were received by mammoth jubilant crowd of over 20,000 who were delighted to see the Governor and the APGA governorship candidate.

Hon Arinzechukwu Awogu, Transition Chairman of Ogbaru Local Government Area welcomed the APGA campaign train to his LGA.

He commended Governor Obiano for the various projects sited in communities within Ogbaru and for empowering the youths. He promised to deliver the 16 wards in the LGA to APGA come November 6, 2021

Chief Patrick Ifejika, (Singa), APGA chairman in Ogbaru Local Government also assured that Ogbaru will deliver all its ward to APGA, adding that it will be a repeat of the 21 over 21 victory which APGA got in the last gubernatorial election.

Senator Victor Umeh, (Ohamadike), former Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and former APGA National Chairman; Hon Chinedu Obidigwe, member representing Anambra East and West Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives and Prof Solo Chukwulobelu, Secretary to the State Government and Director-General of the Campaign Council all called on the people to vote enmasse for APGA and the Soludo/Ibezim ticket in the forthcoming governorship election.

In his speech, Cee Cee Soludo thanked the people of Ogbaru for the warm reception accorded him and Governor Willie Obiano.

He assured the people that Anambra will never be taken back to ‘Egypt again’. He charged the people to vote massively for APGA, saying that it is the only identity party of the Igboman.

He promised to create jobs through the private sector and enhance agriculture. He further assured the youths and women including the vulnerables that plans have been put in place in his manifesto to address issues concerning them.

He therefore enjoined the people to come out massively on November 6 to vote APGA and the Soludo/Ibezim guber ticket.

Governor Obiano also expressed gratitude to the people for their warm welcome and assured them that Soludo will deliver as he has promised.

He also charged the people to come out and vote for APGA gubernatorial candidates on November 6, 2021.

Meanwhile, in a related development, APC and PDP women leaders in Ogbaru Local Government Area defected to APGA with over 5,000 members during APGA rally in Ogbaru.

Both Governor Willie Obiano and Cee Cee Soludo welcomed the new defectors into APGA warmly.
