It was another day of magnificent display of pomp and pageantry as the unstoppable Soludo moving campaign train arrived Orumba North and South, Saturday, September 23, 2021, to teeming party faithful and enthusiastic supporters.
The train first berthed at Orumba South where Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo, the All Progressives Grand Alliance, (APGA), gubernatorial candidate and Governor Willie Obiano, Executive Governor of Anambra State were both received by the Transition Committee Chairman, Hon Cyprian Okereke and party supporters.
The TC chairman commended Governor Willie Obiano for his outstanding achievements in the state in the areas of road construction, community choose your project initiative and other critical sectors. He described Soludo as the right man to consolidate on the achievements of Obiano.
He promised to deliver the LGA to APGA come November 6, 2021.
Hon Emma Nwafor, (Ntu Japan), Member Representing Orumba South, Anambra State House of Assembly also commended Governor Willie Obiano for his sterling achievements in the State.
He enumerated most of the projects Obiano has successfully carried out in the LGA as highly commendable. He further praised the Governor for putting forward Cee Cee Soludo as the party’s gubernatorial candidate, adding that Soludo has all it takes to move the state to another glorious level.
He assured the campaign train that the local government was fully prepared to deliver the 18 wards in its locality to APGA and the Soludo/Ibezim ticket.
Hon. Ben Nwankwo, (Isingidi), who represented the Constituency three times at the Federal House of Representatives, also commended Governor Willie Obiano for his transformational leadership in Anambra State that has brought about uncommon infrastructural development in the state.
He described Obiano as a good leader, saying that he has typified humility in excellence dimension. He described Soludo’s manifesto as an excellent economic blueprint that will further take the state to a greater height. He called on the people to come out in their thousands to vote for APGA and the Soludo/Ibezim ticket.
Other party stakeholders who also took turns to speak, called on the people to vote for Soludo/Ibezim ticket come November 6, 2021.
Soludo in his speech promised to address every issue raised by the stakeholders in the local government. He also promised to complete the on-going road constructions and other projects within the local government when he assumes office as Governor.
He also promised to provide jobs and empower the youths, women and the vulnerables
At the Orumba North, the campaign train was received by the TC chairman, Hon. lady Ify Obinabo (Ada -Ife), and hundred of thousands of teeming supporters.
The TC chairman commended Governor Willie Obiano for his numerous achievements in the locality, such as road construction, community choose your project initiatives which has impacted positively on the lives of the people among others.
She expressed confidence in Soludo’s abilities, saying he will consolidate on the achievements of Obiano. She asserted that Orumba North will deliver the gubernatorial election to APGA in a landslide victory.
Hon Emeka Aforka, Deputy Majority Leader in the state House of Assembly enumerated and commended several of Obiano’s monumental achievements both within the LGA and the entire state in general.
He expressed gratitude to Obiano for being an exceptional leader, assuring that the LG will deliver 100 percent victory to APGA and the Soludo/Ibezim ticket.
Cee Cee Soludo thanked the people for their warm reception and overwhelming support. He promised to address the issues raised by the various speakers in areas of flooding, roads, environmental degradation among others. He told the people that his manifesto is all about jobs and wealth creation, empowerment for the youths, women and the vulnerables majorly. He therefore urged the people to vote massively for APGA and the Soludo/Ibezim ticket come November 6, 2021.
Governor Willie Obiano also thanked the people for their reception and support. He enjoined them to come out and vote for APGA and its gubernatorial candidate without fear or intimidation on the election day.
He assured them of adequate security on election day, saying that President Muhammadu Buhari has given assurances that non-state actors will not be allowed to disrupt Anambra governorship election.
Another batch of thousands of defectors from APC led by Hon. Vin Okolo, a top APC stalwart, were received and welcomed into the APGA party by Ozonkpu Victor Oye, National Chairman of APGA.
