The vicissitude of life is for only those who can take heart. The firewood of this world is for only those who can fetch it. That is why not all can gather it. Faith they say is belief in unseen reality. The road to crescendo is full of thorns but the sun smiles at he who perseveres to the end.
Hon. Obiefuna Ibuzo the incumbent lawmaker representing Onitsha-North 2 State Constituency in the 6th Anambra Legislature is a living testimony of God’s mercy and compassion. As a graduate of Economics from Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, the young Ibuzo returned from Kuto district Abeokuta Ogun state where he did his national youth service, only to face the excruciating experiences of ‘No Vacancy’ in the Nigerian labour market. Determined to cross the Rubicon, Hon. Edward Obiefuna Ibuzo left the shores of Nigeria with less than ten thousand naira in his pocket in search of the golden fleece!
Armed with his little Bible and Rosary, he found his way into Libravile Gabon where he laid a solid foundation for himself and thereafter proceeded to Europe. Like the parable of the mustard seed, Hon. Edward Obiefuna Ibuzo built an empire for himself in Germany and other European countries. He has lived in London, Portugal, Houston Texas and currently based in Bremen city Germany.
As the Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity Onitsha confers this honour on him on the 1st day in the month of September 2018, it is pertinent to say that the Catholic Church made Honourable Edward Obiefuna Ibuzo what he is today. At the age of seven, he served mass under Arch-bishop Valerian Okeke when he was a priest at Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity Onitsha. He also served mass under Bishop Arinze now cardinal Arinze. Ibuzo attended Queen of Niger Primary School in the Holy Trinity Onitsha and thereafter proceeded to St. Paul seminary Ukpor Nnewi-South local government. The young Ibuzo also attended All Hallows Seminary Onitsha and later did his apostolic work at St. Michael Catholic Church Egbema Ozubulu Ekwusigo local government area of Anambra State.
As the lawmaker representing  Onitsha-North 2 State Constituency in the Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon. Ibuzo has  moved a number of motions prominent among them is the motion on Ausbildung. The motion however led to the renovation of Onitsha technical school to higher standard and some others across the state. He also runs a functional Constituency Clinic where many lives have been saved from untimely death. Ibuzo provides free computer education and capacity building for youths to dissuade them  from crime and criminality. He embarks on visitations to the Onitsha prisons carrying out Charity works.
