Why FG Should Declare State Of Emergency On Girl-Child, Women Abuses —– Group

African Child Social Empowerment Center, ACSEC, has announced its readiness to launch a campaign against rape and other sexual abuses.
The function ragged, “Stop Rape Now” will take place on the 19th of November, 2021, at the Multi purpose Hall of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.
The programme is in partnership with the Anambra State Ministries of Women and Children Affairs, Basic Education, Health, and Justice.
Others include the Public Complaint Commission, Anambra State Command of the Nigerian Police, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, International Federation of Women Lawyers, FIDA among other agencies.
It was gathered that African Child Social Empowerment Centre (ACSEC) is a non-governmental, nonprofit and social organisation focused on children, youth and the community development.
The initiative was founded by a young Nigerian,  Bonaventure Emenali, who is also the state commissioner for lands in Anambra, in 2008 in the course of his one-year National Youth Service Corps on discovery of inefficiency among African Child and Youth, hence to nurture and promote their skills and talents.
The organization has grown beyond the initial idea through the formation of 12 core projects such as ACSEC Annual Convention/ Talent day and Competition; Campaign Against Rape project (CARP); Moment with Children (MWC); Strategic African Youth Empowerment Forum (SAYEF); Strategic African Child Empowerment Forum (SACEF); Sensitization programs on HIV/AIDS; Self  Development Self Awereness; value Oriented Leadership; SCSEC Club projects.
Others are African Child Sports Club, Modeling club, entrepreneurship club, Music club, Dancing club, Technical club, Family Counseling projects, good education for African projects, (GEFAP,) Adult Education projects, (AEP), Out of School Education projects, (OSEP), In School Education projects (ISEP); Commemoration of International Day for the African Child and Advocacy, among others.
The Founder regretted the sexual and other abuses going on in the society, more especially on the female.
Emenali called on judiciary to declare State of Emergency on girl-child and women abuses.
He urged Ndi Anambra, especially Women to attend the program, to ascertain the solution for any attempt to be abused.
