Press Secretary to Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State, Mr. Christian Aburime, says the likes of Sen. Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, Valentine Ozigbo and a host of other prospective aspirants for the 2025 Anambra governorship election will all pass vote of confidence on Soludo because they know the governor is performing creditably well.
Aburime, who spoke with our reporter in his office at the Government House Awka, said there was no gainsaying the fact that the governor had done tremendously well in all the sectors of the State economy.
He said in road constructions, Governor Soludo had awarded almost 396 kilometers of roads. That about 250 kilometers had been done and awaiting commissioning, adding that more road projects would be awarded this year to bring it up to 450 kilometers of roads.
Aburime noted that the present administration had made it possible for communities without access roads to have well-constructed roads connecting them into their communities, stressing that the state government had recorded milestones in road infrastructure.
On security, Aburime noted that Anambra State was entrapped with security challenges and people being killed at will by criminal elements even as he stated that insecurity had been brought to the lowest ebb under the Soludo administration.
He said the situation was no longer the same again as people returned home massively for the last Christmas celebration across the State. He said the state government had created an atmosphere of peace and tranquility such that there were no more threats to life from hoodlums.
Again, Aburime noted that the governor had been very fantastic in the education sector. He said government declared free education in primary schools and from J.S.S 1 to J.S.S 3, adding that one could comfortably and conveniently say that Soludo had done so well in the education sector and needed to be commended too.
The governor’s Press Secretary was however of the opinion that those criticising Soludo negatively were just mere insignificant few, who had blinded their eyes and sense of reasoning to the massive developmental strides of the present administration.
He said opposition elements would have no choice but to vote overwhelmingly for Soludo in the upcoming governorship election because they knew that he was meeting the expectations of Ndi-Anambra, adding that the people were 100 per cent behind Soludo.
According to Aburime, no opposition can unseat Governor Soludo; not even the likes of Ifeanyi Ubah, Val Ozigbo as these people, according to him, will unanimously pass a vote of confidence on Soludo as well as vote massively for his re-election in 2025.
